The Regional Advisory Committee
The Regional Advisory Committee consisted of: 1) the Local Co-ordinator and one key Reference Group Member (usually interviewer and / or focus group facilitator) for each project site (total of 12 members); 2) the Research and Management Team Members (total of 5 members); and 3) one government representative (CIC). The Regional Advisory Committee met twice in the duration of the project, for an all-day workshop in Halifax. The first meeting took place in the beginning of the project, as the latter's structures were being set up, with the objective to provide input and feedback on proposed structures, research objectives and methodologies and the research process overall. The Regional Advisory Committee met for a second time for a full day workshop toward the end of the project, with the objective to provide feedback on the research findings and process as it had taken place, as well as discuss policy recommendations.
