DESCRIPTION OF RESEARCH FINDINGS

This section provides a summary of the research findings by research instrument beginning with the Town Halls, moving to the Focus Groups, then to an examination of the Survey results, and finally to an analysis of the Qualitative Interviews.  Throughout, key concepts are interrogated those of: security; citizenship; equality; freedom; and terrorism. These are assessed vis-à-vis the perceptions of immigrants, women and men, in Atlantic Canada, and in light of Canada’s new security and immigration laws. For more information click here.
