Two conference presentations were made at the Metropolis Conference in Montreal (March 25-28) on this project: one by Carmen Celina Moncayo, our MISA liaison person and member of the Management Committee, and the other by Management Committee member, Dr. Alexandra Dobrowolsky.

A news release about the Townhall appeared in local Charlottetown newspaper, The Guardian on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 and a PSA appeared in the March edition of The Buzz, an alternative arts and entertainment paper. Interviews were given to a CBC Radio and The Guardian reporters. The "unofficial" website of the Charlottetown LRG is located via the PEI ANC website http://www.peianc.com/sip

A CBC reporter attended the Halifax Townhall and interviewed participants. Two reports were presented the following day on Information Morning and Maritimes News. Dr. E. Keeble was interviewed on Information Morning.

In Moncton, interviews were given to Times & Transcript, Radio Canada and CBC reporters. After the Townhall a radio interview with Dr. A. Dobrowolsky was aired at 103.9 FM (March 23, 2004).

Media coverage to advertise the St. John's Townhall included announcements on CBC and university campus radio, and in the Telegraph Journal and Here Magazine. An article appeared at the Express newspaper on March 10, 2004 about the Townhall.

Before the Fredericton Townhall, Dr. A. Dobrowolsky was interviewed by Hear Magazine. A presentation on the project was made by the Fredericton Local Coordainator, Renu Dhayagude, at the Atlantic Regional Association of Immigrant Settlement Associations (ARAISA) Conference which was held in Fredericton on March 25-27, 2004.

The Saint John local coordinator gave an interview to CBC Information Morning about the upcoming Townhall meeting and the project on March 9, 2004.
