The Local Reference Groups

Each of the Local Co-ordinators (LCs) formed a Local Reference Group (LRG) consisting of local community members, workers from immigrant service-providing and multicultural organizations, representatives of immigrant and ethnic groups, as well as government representatives in each city. The LRGs worked in an advisory capacity to the Local Co-ordinator. By meeting at least five times during the project, the LRGs offered support and advice about the project process and feedback on all research instruments, reports and other documents produced.
